Our first troops for the Forgotten Armies range are coming - 15mm Norwegians. They are being sculpted by a very talented fellow. The initial figs should allow you to put together an army for most major rules systems, with artillery and HMG support. Add-ons will include specialist troops (cavalry - the only troops in the Norwegian Army actually issued with skis), and some additional heavy weapons.
We plan to follow on with other appropriate forces for the Weserubung campaign, as well as other early WW2 armies. Danes, Slovaks, and Germans in winter uniforms are all near the top of the list, but we've got plenty of other troops planned as well.
Got a look at the first three sculpts, today. Infantry, advancing in Norwegian uniform (winter tunics, but no snow camo, which wasn't as common as you might think) equipped with the standard Krag Jorgensen.
Darryl, the Sculptor is still tweaking some details. Thinks the rifles are a bit too long, and wants to work a bit more on the kepis. However, they are already looking great. By my request, they should be compatible size wise with those of other major WW2 manufacturers. (Hint, hint.)
I will get some pictures up when the sculptor is more comfortable with them, but just wanted you to know that they are definitely progressing beautifully.
