Packed away the Garford-Putilov Armored Truck and the DaVinci tank last evening, and they are now on their way to the caster via Priority mail. He should have them before the week is out. Have asked for some expedited shipping on the first production models, so I expect to have them in hand sooner than later.
Not sure on a price point yet. The Garford is (surprisingly) light, much lighter than I thought it would be, and as a result, may not cost as much as the Ehrhardt which is comparatively a very heavy model (Lots of metal, big hull, etc.) On the other hand, the Davinci is a surprisingly hefty piece.
Lately the caster's been doing all of these as resin/metal hybrids, which means that they probably won't be as heavy, and so won't cost as much to buy, or to ship overseas. Which is only a good thing for anybody who's interested in buying them.
There are at least two other vehicles in the immediate future...
- Our first 15mm WW2 vehicle. Not only is this a German vehicle, but it's (amazingly enough) a German vehicle that nobody makes, at least so far as I know. (I believe QRF did make one briefly, but I don't believe it's in their range anymore.) Sculptor has familiarity with the era, and with the vehicle, and intends to sculpt it with a couple different options. Still finalizing the contract, but we should have it out in the not too distant future.
- The first 28mm vehicle for the "secret project." I can tell you that it'll be a twentieth century piece. The sculptor has agreed in principal to do it, but I'm waiting for our return from Kublacon to speak to him about a formal agreement/pricing/etc. I think you'll really dig this one. Sculptor is excited about the idea and intends to add some extra bits and pieces to play around with.
Anyway, that said, all of our vehicles are selling very well (thank you to those of you who have purchased them. I'm grateful for your business) they are really keeping the company going, and providing fuel for some of the other ranges.
As for the next stuff - I'm more than open to suggestions. Please continue to let me know what you'd like to see in 28mm or 15mm, and I'll see what I can do.
